It’s the new year and many are looking for ways to get fit. That’s why we thought this product was worth mentioning to those of you looking for a new way to workout during pregnancy. **As always, be sure to consult with your physician before starting any new exercise program. This post is for informational purposes only, so please use with discretion as we have never used this product ourselves.
Experts say that exercising during pregnancy benefit women because strong, flexible muscles allow for the necessary growth of and support for the uterus, as well as alleviation of back stress and aches. Beauty and Health Expert Romy Fazeli of Kymaro offers tips on how to safely get the workout pregnant women need to stay healthy by using Kymaro’s easy-to-use at-home workout machine – The Rhythm Rocker.
Tips:
1) Hold on to the EZ-Grip handles to maintain stability and balance throughout your workout. This will avoid any potential trauma to the uterus during pregnancy while still allowing you to receive a moderate ab workout.
2) Move side-to-side at a slow even pace to stretch the abdominal muscles without overly extenuating them.
3) Move back and forth on the seat slowly while still holding on to the handles to contract and relax the muscles that form part of your pelvic floor (this is known as a Kegel exercise which benefits pregnant women during birth).
4) While sitting still on the Rhythm Rocker (positioned in the center of the seat), take two lightweight weights (1 or 2lbs) – one in each hand – and complete 5-10 curls at a time. This will strengthen your biceps while also increasing your core strength.
5) Sit on the Rhythm Rocker (positioned in the center of the seat) while holding on to the EZ-Grip handles and slowly lift your legs up-and-down to strengthen your upper-thigh and glute muscles as well as your core strength.
**The Rhythm Rocker may be a safer alternative for pregnant women as it allows women to have a complete body workout while sitting up-right to increase oxygen
from mother to baby and to alleviate stress on the back and shoulders. But be sure to consult your physician first to make sure that it is a safe option for you and your pregnancy.
Kymaro’s Rhythm Rocker can go with you anywhere and everywhere – it is easy to pack-up and set-up wherever you go. It is available for $99.99 at www.ubuyez.com

I’ll have to get this to evaluate it but it looks like it could be beneficial. Here is a great website for pregnant women to learn more about their pregnancy and it also has some great exercising suggestions as well, but most importantly it covers all aspects of pregnancy; http://safepregnancy.net
As you review the pregnancy exercise suggestions consider how the Rhythm Rocker could aid you as well and be incorporated in the video exercises provided.
