Chic Papoose Baby Sling
As a very busy mom who is always on the go, it’s hard to tote around my 7 month old and still get things done. When my daughter was only a few weeks old, I couldn’t get anything done. I was carrying her around all the time, because she refused to be happy anywhere else. I had to make blog posts with one hand, dishes with one hand, laundry with one hand, and don’t even ask me how I made dinner every night. Thankfully, I discovered a different way of carrying my little one.
Baby slings are the most convenient way of carrying around your newborn. They are also quite fashionable too! They are available in a variety of fabrics and sizes.
I have been reviewing and testing different baby slings and wraps over the last several months. I just recently got the Chic Papoose Baby Sling that is fit for a celebrity. It’s just so chic!
For me, this was the best sling, even after trying more than half a dozen different slings and wraps.
I found this one to be the best size and fit for carrying my 7 month old in the Cradle Hold carrying position. (Click here to read more about carrying positions.) It was also easier to fold and store without the padding like the Hotslings Baby Slings and the Slinglings Baby Slings.
They come in only 3 sizes so the chance of getting a perfect fit isn’t as high as with the companies that offer several different sizes. However, I’m 5′3″ and approx 34B and the Regular size fits me perfect. My sister in law has one too and she’s 5′4″ and approx 36D and it fits her perfect with her tiny baby boy who’s little over 2 months old. So it goes to show that the same size can work perfectly for 2 different people.
My Chic Papoose is in the Cassidy print, an awesome summer print of hibiscus, surf boards, and waves. Love it!! It’s a popular print an almost sold out so hurry if you want one!

The Chic Papoose is on the upper end of the price chart when it comes to baby slings, but they are high quality and reversible. They have 15 different prints in 3 different sizes, and they cost $68 a piece. I definitely recommend them!

We all know how to be fashionable housewives, but here’s a little something for your little ones.
Breastfeeding is one of the greatest gifts you can give to your baby. But many mothers get frustrated due to the difficulty in trying to nurse in public.
Breastfeeding is something to be proud of. For those of us who are not so comfortable breastfeeding in public, Bebe au Lait has got you covered – and in style.
I can’t say enough nice things about these nursing covers. They are easy to put on, easy to adjust, you can see your baby while your nursing, and it’s so much more fashionable than just throwing your baby’s blanket over you.
Being a fashionable mom, I have a hard time finding clothes for my daughter. Wal Mart and Babies R’ Us just doesn’t cut it for me! So I was delighted to find these adorable, organic cotton onesies from Nubius Organics.

Leg warmers are a popular and growing trend, not just for adults, but kids too!

I did find that the Rockin’ Baby Sling had less slippery rings which makes it harder to adjust, but less likely to slip with heavier children. The material also feels more durable, like it may last much longer than the Maya.
I get lots of compliments when I’m wearing the Rockin’ Baby Sling. It’s a big hit in the mall! And it’s the same baby carrier that Gwen Stefani uses. How much cooler can you get?
