Petticoat Dresses from April’s Attic

ACBanner
Don’t you love it when friends pass great finds on to you? I do! April’s Attic is one of those most recent finds. If you are a romantic at heart, enjoy old-fashioned things or just appreciate femininity, then you will love the April Cornell website.

Little House on the Prairie will always be a timeless book series and TV show. Little girls and big girls love to imagine that they are Mary and Laura roaming freely across the golden prairie hills with the wind blowing through their hair.

If you are practical like me, you like buying things that may be used more than once and preferably over and over again. With clothing, why waste closet space on dress-up clothes, when regular clothing may double up and serve as dress-up clothes as well?

These feminine petticoat dresses from April’s Attic serve three purposes, in my mind. They may be worn alone as a nightie, worn beneath dresses that may be too short or for extra warmth during cooler months and they are perfect for young girls to pretend they are living in the pioneer days of America. The dresses are regular $34, but are currently $17.00 for big girl’s size 10 and $14.50 for little girl’s size 2. Unfortunately, they only have the two sizes available – they must be popular! The sizes are more than generous and will fit girls, ages 8-10 and little girls, ages 2-4. This link will take you directly to April’s Attic: www.AprilCornell.comDRKCHRIM.White

I agree that these are girlie. These not for Mums but for young girls ages 18 months to 10 years old. I don’t think they have any ladies petticoat dresses, but they do have some similar night wear for mothers at:

And hey, it’s ok if UK Mums wouldn’t wear these either. Mothers everywhere will have different tastes for their children and themselves. Life would be pretty boring if we all liked the same things.

Practicality speaking,i don’t buy very expensive dresses. We can have fashionable and elegant dresses on a reasonable price at your budget.I think being comfortable is one basic consideration in choosing your clothes.
