As we mentioned last week pediped® footwear is hosting a Purchases with Purpose fundraiser to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation from January 6th to February 5th. During this period, select styles of both Originals and Flex shoes will be marked down as much as 40 percent. Half of the sales from this promotion will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation to help grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. We hope that you all will help spread the word about this special promotion on your blogs, Facebook, Twitter etc.

    I think this is a good promotion because so many children who have a terminal illness would never be able to go to Disney World or some other fun thing if it weren’t for the Make a Wish Foundation.

    Make-A-Wish brings hope and happiness and for these reasons Pediped’s promotion is superb.
    Make-A-Wish provides a trip for my cousins granddaughter who had cancer. She wanted to see Paw-Paw. And she got to. Thank you Make-A-Wish.

    I’m impressed that 50% of the purchase price (during this Pediped promotion) will go to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. That’s awesome! I read about one of the recipients of Make-A-Wish…George L. and how excited he was about receiving his race car bed. It’s seemingly little things like that, that can make such a huge impact on a child. Anything to bring a smile to a child’s face, especially when going through an illness, is always worth the time and effort.

    I was reading on the Pediped website about foot health and they have a good point I’d never thought about. They say, “Don’t let your child wear hand me down shoes. Because most shoes mold to the foot, wearing hand me downs can affect the shape of your child’s foot.” Wow…ya know, they are right. I wouldn’t have thought about it that way, but it makes a lot of sense. Along those same lines, I like they have a printable guide on their site to help find the correct size for your child.

    This is a great promotion that Pedipeds is participating in. Making it possible for ones who have a terminal illness being able to share their wish with their loved ones. This will bring some joy to ones affected by illness.

    I think this is a wonderful donation just think of all those children whose wishes can come true. That is so touching just to think of all the smiles the Make a wish foundation puts on the childrens faces!

    I think is a great promotion as it will help the Make a Wish foundation be able to fulfill more children’s wishes and bring some happiness to some very sick children.

    Pediped® was one of the first children’s shoe companies the American Podiatric Medical Association awarded their Seal of Acceptance for promoting healthy foot development.

    The name pediped® came from a doctor friend of Angela’s while her daughter was wear testing shoes. Pedi is for pediatrician and ped is Latin for foot.
