There are many things that are mysteries in child training. One of them is temper tantrums. one minute a child can be playing nicely with their toys and five minutes later they can be taking a fit. Most times it is because of selfishness because the child wants what they want when they want it. Other times it is a guessing game to figure out what set the tantrum off. The key is to prevention, stopping it before it is a full fledged temper tantrum. Here are three ways to avoid a temper tantrum.
1. Distract the young child from the object they want to another appealing object or activity to get their mind off of the desired item.
2. Don’t take your child shopping or at least go with your partner and have them take the child out to the care before you get to the check outline to avoid all the candy and toys.
3. Make sure your child gets enough sleep. Regular nap times and bedtimes an occasional late night is ok, but on a regular basis you are setting yourself up for more trouble and temper tantrums.
