Bean-B-Clean Brush

We were privileged to review Bean – B – Clean. We received 2 brushes…one for each twin.

The Bean – B – Clean is a revolutionary scalp massaging brush. It is effective in the fight against Cradle Cap, successfully dealing with the flakes and crustiness associated with Cradle Cap.

Our Review: This is a nice product. It did as it said and successfully dealt with the Cradle Cap flakes. I would surmise that after prolonged use the cradle cap would subside and cease to exist with use of the Bean – Be – Clean. The product itself is soft and safe. It is in essence a brush that you use in addition to your own oil of choice. We used the product along with sunflower oil you can use any other oil, such as olive oil, etc. We would not recommend baby oil, as it tends to lead to clogged pores.

The regimen is a bit tedious, especially with twins. We used the product as instructed on the packaging and found it time consuming, again perhaps having twins was part of that time consumption. But I digress; the steps used were as follows:

  • Put oil on head then scrub with Bean – Be – Clean
  • Wash Bean – Be – Clean with soap to remove oil.
  • Rinse head then lather head/hair with baby shampoo.
  • Brush head with Bean – Be –Clean
  • Wash head

After the regimen was done we found that we then had to wash each baby because of all of the oil in the tub… so we had to use two tubs of water (one for the Bean – Be – Clean regimen and another for the post regimen bath).

Overall, the product worked well. One of the twins has more hair than the other so it was a bit easier to remove the oil from the balder twin than the twin with a bunch of hair. The product (brush) itself is very nice feeling and massaged the twins’ head and removed the flakes. I would recommend this product if you did not mind the steps in the regimen. It is not that bad of a process if you want to get rid of the Cradle Cap and reap the benefits of the product ~ a nice clean baby’s head!
