KidZui, The Internet for Kids, Launches Fundraising Program

for Family-Friendly Organizations

KidZui membership, loaded with extra features for kids and parents above and beyond KidZui’s free service, is now available as a fundraising program.

San Diego, CA – September 19, 2008 – KidZui, The Internet for Kids (www.kidzui.com), has launched a fundraising program designed for family-friendly organizations.  KidZui will donate back 20% of the membership fees to the organization.

“The fundraising program is an easy and effective way for organizations to provide a true service to their members – connecting members with a fun, safe, and engaging internet experience for their kids – while also raising money for the organization,” said Cliff Boro, chairman and chief executive officer of KidZui.

Designed for kids age 3-12, KidZui is a free revolutionary new web browser and online service that offers access to the best Internet content for kids — more than 800,000 kid-friendly Web sites, videos and pictures. All content in KidZui has been reviewed and approved by the editorial team of trained and compensated educators and parents. KidZui also offers a membership for just $4.95/month or $49.95/year that includes enhanced online reporting for parents and fun extras for kids. With membership, kids can have enhanced backgrounds and themes and can redeem points for cool stuff for their avatar, or “Zui.” Families involved in the fundraising program will receive the added benefits of KidZui membership, and know that they’re also financially supporting their organization.

For groups not interested in fundraising but who are passionate about making sure that families around them can enjoy KidZui’s free service, KidZui.com also offers tools to make sharing KidZui easy.

The first organization to sign up for the fundraising program was the Mission Bay Montessori Academy in San Diego, CA. Since signing up for the pilot program in April 2008 parents have created membership accounts for their kids, with KidZui donating $10.00 per subscription back to the Mission Bay Montessori Academy Parent Group.

“We’ve been able to raise money to support our school’s Parent Group,” said Jennifer Robben, computer teacher at Mission Bay Montessori Academy. “KidZui has opened doors for our students to explore the Internet freely and without the fear that they will come across inappropriate content.”

The program is designed for organizations that want to communicate the value of KidZui to their members. Participating groups could include but are not limited to religious, educational (PTA/PTOs, teachers), youth (Boy/Girl Scouts, youth sports teams), parent and grandparent, neighborhood, ethnic, alumni and employee groups and associations.
