Tips and Tricks to Deal with Teething Babies

Little baby girl playing with teething toy

Caring for teething babies is something no parent looks forward to at all. Not only is it horrible to see your little one in pain, but attempting to calm them down and find something soothing can be a real challenge.

To start with, use teething toys that are are easy to clean and in one solid piece to ensure all around safety for your little sweetheart. Remember to clean all teething toys on a regular basis to keep away germs and bacteria.

Older babies will love chomping on frozen fruits like grapes or bananas in a mesh bag. Just stand by to ensure that nothing slips through and your baby chokes. If this doesn’t help, then rub a clean finger along your baby’s gum to lightly apply pressure and ease the pain teething causes.

Little Toader teethers are food inspired and perfect for teething babies with their multiple choices. From chicken wings to ice cream and pineapple shaped fun. All the reviews are raving about how much babies (and parents too!) love them.

Allowing your baby to chew on clean fingers is always a good option as well. Babies love nothing more than being able to chomp on your finger.

Teething babies love to be sung to and rocked so don’t be discouraged if all they do is cling to you. This is normal and while some kids may not want to be held-that’s normal too-most will be extra fussy and clingy.
