Super Chic (and Super Expensive) Diaper bags

Who says you have to give up your purse fetish just because your tote of choice these days is a diaper bag?  Just as maternity clothes have evolved from the dumpy, fluffy caftans of yesteryear, so too has the diaper bag evolved in to a fashion accessory of stylish moms everywhere.

Consider the go-to designs of Kate Spade.  Chic, classic, timeless.  Her Denise Diaper Bag, available for $395 at Amazon.com is totally hip and has the Hobo Bag trend nailed to perfection.

If you are a plaid fan, Burberry, has some lovely bags, including this messenger style, as well as a more traditional tote, both available at us.burberry.com with prices starting around $700.

My two personal favorites are the understated Prada diaper bag, yours for a mere $1100 at Neimanmarcus.com

and this awesome Hansel Diaper Bag, by the aptly named company Not Rational, available at celebritybabygear.com.  It reminds me of my much loved Rebecca Minkoff Stud Devote bag, which is currently full of tons of stuff, but not a single baby related product!

With any one of these fabulous diaper bags you can keep your chic and feel glamorous, which is probably a good thing since you likely won’t be able to afford a babysitter or even another handbag for awhile.
