Dream Big, Little Pig! is an awesome book! This book is about a pig who follows her dreams, and despite not being good at something, she does not give up! Her friends and family rally around her and cheer “Dream Big Pig”! The book is a new classic, reminiscent of The Little Engine that Could! This book was written by Olympic Gold Medalist Kristi Yamaguchi and wonderfully illustrated by Tim Bowers. If anyone knows about dreaming big it is Kristi…thusly she has penned a wonderful book sure to be a must on every bookshelf!

I loved this book! And although Poppy is a girl pig and some of her activities can be perceived as “girly” (ballet, modeling, etc.) the theme is universal and all of my children (2 (girl), 5 (boy), 7 (girl)) LOVED this book and asked me to read it over and over at story time…so not this is not a book just for girls, do not let the pink pig on the cover scare you…children of all genders and ages will love this book!
