Staying Relaxed Around the Holidays

holidays

The holidays are just around the corner and while it’s so easy to get caught up in planning Christmas gifts for everyone in the family, and all the parties you have to make dishes for, remember to treat yourself too! Here are a few ideas that you can do to stay relaxed around the holidays.

Take a bubble bath or a long shower. Do yoga or go for a walk each day for a few minutes to de-stress and to stay relaxed during the hustle and bustle of the holiday season.

Enjoy the little things. Don’t be afraid to buy yourself chocolate just to make a bad day better. And don’t be afraid to worry less about the big family dinner and go watch tv or read with your kids.

Buy yourself new lingerie. Full Beauty recently launched their 2013 Holiday collection. With lingerie from favorite brands such as Parfait by Affinitas®, Creme Bralee®, and more you’re sure to find something you love! With prices starting at just $24.99 and so many style and color options it’s practically Christmas already over on their website.

Go shopping by yourself. Lets face it, shopping with the kids is stressful and no one wants to constantly tell kids no to everything. Especially not around the holidays. While your husband watches the kids during the evening some night and go shopping for the holidays, or just for you.

Don’t forget to breathe. The holidays should be a time of fun memory making and laughter. Don’t get so caught up or overbook your schedule. It’s ok to have one year when you don’t go to every party or event. Who has time for everything anyhow? Put on a coat and take the kids outside to play and then come back in for hot coco. The craziness of having kids only lasts for so long before they’re independent.

What are your tips for staying relaxed around the holidays?
