Kids Valentine’s Day Activities

Let’s face it kids love crafts and activities that stimulate their creativity. Most kids are very hands on, love to do things with mom and dad and are not afraid of getting their hands dirty. Here are some kids Valentine’s Day activities and ideas to keep you and your kids busy.

1. Elmo Valentine’s Day Puzzle. Elmo had a huge following and if your child is one of them this puzzle will be a hit!

2. Photo Puzzles with Gift Tin. This puzzle would have to be sent for right away in order for it to get her by Valentine’s Day, but I think any child would love a puzzle of their own family or even of themselves.

3. Hugs & Kisses Treat Jar. Have your children put a Hugs & Kisses Treat Jar together for someone special for Valentine’s Day. What child doesn’t like candy or creating a gift for someone else? I know mine love giving gifts!

4. Bake a Homemade Valentine’s Day Treat. All children love to help in the kitchen and do a little taste testing too I might add! There are tons of recipes to choose from, just do a Google search and it will come back with so many results you won’t be able to choose! And your taste buds will be watering too.

5. Make Jewelry. There are lots of kids craft kits geared towards age appropriate jewelry making for kids. Or if you are experienced you can take your child to the store and pick out all the materials you need to make something special for Valentine’s Day for you and your child. My boys even like bracelets, if they aren’t girly. 😉

Participating in kids Valentine’s Day activities is a another great way to create lasting memories and bond yet again with your child. All of these ideas are also a great way to personalize your child’s Valentine’s Day.

If you are looking for more activities to do with your kids in celebration of Valentine’s Day, this Valentine’s Day link up has quite a few cute ideas you can glean for some great Valentine’s Day treats, activities and crafts.
