Best Apps to Use When You’re a Parent

Being a parent is one of the most challenging and rewarding things you will ever do. Yet, no matter how much we try to prepare for parenthood, new challenges always arise. Luckily, mobile technology has made it easier than ever for parents to stay on top of their kids’ lives and maintain some sanity in this crazy world. In this blog post, we’re going to talk about 14 must-have apps that every parent should be using!

1) Google Keep

Google Keep is an excellent app for making to-do lists and taking notes. It’s convenient for parents because you can create checklists for things like packing your child’s lunch or getting them dressed in the morning. You can also make notes of important dates or reminders, like doctor appointments or vaccinations.

2) Baby Connect

Baby Connect is an app for tracking your baby’s health and milestones. It can record everything from weight to feeding schedules, which makes it an excellent tool for communicating with the doctor or pediatrician. You can even keep track of sibling information like birth dates and allergies!

3) Cozi Family Organizer

The Cozi Family Organizer is an app that helps you manage your family’s busy schedule. It has a shared calendar where everyone can add events, and it also allows you to make grocery lists or send messages on the go.

4) Kinedu

Kinedu is an app that helps you track your child’s development. It has age-appropriate milestone goals and activities, which can help you ensure that your child is on track with their physical and emotional growth.

5) Parent Cue

Parent Cue is an app that helps with potty training, and it’s a great tool for encouraging your child to learn self-sufficiency. You can set alarms on the Parent Cue app, so you’ll know when it’s time to go potty or remind them about washing their hands after using the bathroom!

6) WhatsApp Messenger

WhatsApp Messenger is a messaging app that lets you stay in touch with your friends and family. It’s great for parents because it allows you to easily send photos, videos, and messages without using your data plan.

7) Facebook

Last but not least, Facebook is a great way for parents to connect with other families. You can find groups that are specific to your child’s age or activity level and communicate with them 24/07 about challenges you’re facing as a parent!

8) Playfully Baby Development

While this app is not currently available in the United States, it’s definitely worth mentioning. Playfully Baby Development is a UK-based app that helps parents track their baby’s development through weekly quizzes and challenges. It also has a social media component where parents can share tips and advice.

9) Peanut

Peanut is an app for mothers that connects them with other mothers in their area. It’s a great way to find playdates, meet new friends, and get advice from other moms.

10) Kaspersky Safe Kids

Kaspersky Safe Kids is an app that helps parents keep their children safe online. It monitors your child’s internet activity and reports what websites they have visited or apps they have used. This is a great app to have if you’re worried about your child being exposed to inappropriate content online.

11) Google Family Link

Many parents are concerned about their children having phones or using the internet, so Google Family Link is a great alternative. It allows you to create kid-safe profiles on your child’s device that only allows them access to pre-approved apps and websites. This can be helpful if you want control over what they’re doing online without taking away all of their phone privileges! 12) Circle with Disney

While this app isn’t specifically for parenting purposes, it does help parents monitor time spent online by their kids. The Circle with Disney works similar to Kaspersky Safe Kids. It provides reports based on which sites were visited – but unlike Kaspersky Safe Kids, it tracks every site accessed instead of just those deemed inappropriate. This is a great option for parents who want more transparency regarding their child’s online activity.

13) Nanny Monitor

Nanny Monitor is an app that lets parents keep track of their children’s movements. It records live footage from your home security cameras and sends you alerts if there is unexpected movement or noise. This app can be helpful for parents who are looking to monitor their child’s safety while they’re at home.

14) Baby Tracker

Baby Tracker is an app that helps parents keep track of their baby’s feeding, sleeping, and diaper changes. You can add notes about each feeding or diaper change, as well as view charts and graphs to see how your baby is progressing over time. This app is a great way to keep track of your baby’s milestones!

In conclusion, many great apps can help parents with almost every aspect of their lives. These apps will make your life as a parent much more accessible, from tracking milestones to finding playdates!
