These baby carriers are ideal for babies 10-25 lbs and are super convenient because baby can face toward or away from you. For me, it was super comfortable to wear and simple to use. Some carriers, you have to pull out the directions and spend 20 minutes figuring out how to put it on, but not this one. It’s completely user friendly!

The other thing I really liked about it was being able to adjust it to the perfect height so I could discreetly nurse my daughter in stores. Being kind of a holistic mom, I am concerned about my daughter’s spine. I even bring her to the chiropractors with me. So I was really happy to see that this carrier actually fosters proper growth and development. Some carriers compact baby’s spine and it ends up being a problem for them later on.

Another cool thing is these carriers are actually made in Colorado of the highest quality fabrics and materials. I LOVE things that aren’t made in China! Nothing against China, it’s just it seems like everything is made over there…

Even Moms-To-Be are hopping on board with the summer trend of Long Dresses. It’s definitely clear that Long Dresses Are The Hottest Trend For Summer! Literally, everyone is wearing them! Celebrities, fashionistas, and stay at home moms, and now even moms-to-be wearing this trend. And personally, we love it because anyone can wear them. Short, tall, fat, thin, doesn’t matter!

We are mostly seeing long dresses with empire waistlines because those are the most figure-forgiving. It hides everything. Mom of four commends Elizabeth Hasselbeck from The View who recently spoke out against inappropriate panties for young girls and creates Positive Apparel to honor her 3-year-old daughter Jordann.

LAS VEGAS, NV… July 8, 2008… Everyone wears t-shirts with messages, graphics and photos. Some artists make their own as a political statement, a work of art, an advertising billboard, something to make people laugh, a fashion statement, a rebellious or celebrity image and even just something comfortable to wear.

Carla Weiskopf, a Las Vegas mother with four children, wanted to buy t-shirts for her three year old daughter, Jordann, and she could not find any with appropriate positive and empowering messages for the young child.

“Too many shirts have cynical, sarcastic, commercial or undignified sexual and sexist references, even for young girls and teenagers,” she explained. Weiskopf was appalled, so she decided to design her own shirts from home and named her home business Jordanns Positive Apparel. “My hope is to raise all my children to be couragous and confident, yet kind and gracious. Young girls and women should be admired for their intelligence, creativity, independence and positive attitude not only their physical qualities.

“Each morning I ask my children what type of man or woman are they going to be. Their answer is a man or woman of courage. I ask what does that mean. They say, a person of courage stands up for themselves and for others who cannot. A person of courage stands in the face of a challenge and does the right thing even when everyone else is doing the wrong thing. A woman of courage will do her best, believes she is a good person and values herself.

“I teach my children every day to make choices and decisions with the outcome they want. Some decisions in life are so amazing that they change lives forever. Making a decision is powerful and I teach them not to give their power to someone else. It is important for parents to constantly remind their children that who they are is wonderful, that they should be proud of who they are and to stand tall with self-respect. Children should always surround themselves with people who will lift them up when they are down, encourage them to believe and show them the same level of respect they have for themselves. They must also be gracious and acknowledge that they are blessed, ” she concluded.

In Virginia, two granddaughters decided to bring their Nana’s charming story character, Nana Star, to life with a picture book series lovingly illustrated, written and published by three generations.

Grandmother Elizabeth Owens, matriarch of the family, created the character Nana Star out of a great love for her little grandson, Vance, with a desire to give him sense of home wherever he was. Today, the whole family hopes to extend that same love and feelings of belonging to children everywhere, in dedication to Vance, who now dances among the stars.
“We developed our grandmother’s vision of Nana Star into a sweet, very simple, very edifying picture book series,” explained Elizabeth Sills, co-founder of the ee (pronounced double e) publishing and production company, the laugh-friendly company®. “The book has a more old-fashioned feel in order to promote traditional values such as kindness, generosity and compassion.” Adds her sister and business partner, Elena Patrice, fondly, “At the same time we wanted to remind children, as our grandmother reminded Vance, of how special and loved they are, no matter what.
